Candlelink – a product parody
A product video for the non-existing app controlled candle lighter. Script-writing, music production, 3D modelling and animation, as well as live as live action filming and directing was all done in-house. A great excercise for the real product videos that need a little extra flare and finesse.
SELLING THE ABSURD
We rely more and more on our smart devices for our comfort and well-being and this sparked the idea for this product. Lighting a candle should be easier and less of an “offline” experience. Right?
The dinner table scene where the candle is lit by the device is achieved with a motorized slider and pano head, 3D tracking and the integration of a digital asset.
